Dustin's feet... please don't mind the dirty toenails! {eeek!} They grow like crazy and being a boy, during summer, he was outside all day, every day!

Saw this a while ago over on IROCKSOWHAT and had to do it for myself. Just because. 1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?  Hot chocolate. No. Egg nog. With whipped cream and nutmeg. 2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?  He leaves both.  In an ever-so-pretty way, he will set up some on display, wrap some, and stuff the stockings!  Such a creative, stylish, crafty man! ;) 3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?  A mix.  We do colored outside and usually a mix of both on the tree. 4. Do you hang mistletoe?  No. Always wanted to, just haven't paid the $1.99 for a little package in line at the grocery store. 5. When do you put your decorations up?  The. Day. After. Thanksgiving. Mmm, Pie!

It’s been crazy, busy, hectic around here lately. This past week marked the end of summer quarter at school. Finals done, it is now time to relax for a few weeks before beginning fall quarter. However, busy we’ve been, we manage to fit time in for family – and pie! I had been craving a pie for a while, and having a family get together last weekend served the perfect  opportunity  for me to try making some pies I’ve never made before! Wordless{ish} Wednesday

I've seen so many people take an avocado seed and start growing it in a cup, but I've never actually seen anyone grow a tree itself!  We may not get to that point either, but I have been wanting to try this since, well, lets just say "years"!  Dustin is pretty excited about it, too! {Linking up with: and then she snapped , jenni from the blog , & the papermama }
