Mmm, Pie!


It’s been crazy, busy, hectic around here lately. This past week marked the end of summer quarter at school. Finals done, it is now time to relax for a few weeks before beginning fall quarter.
However, busy we’ve been, we manage to fit time in for family – and pie! I had been craving a pie for a while, and having a family get together last weekend served the perfect opportunity for me to try making some pies I’ve never made before!

Saw this a while ago over on IROCKSOWHAT and had to do it for myself. Just because. 1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?  Hot chocolate. No. Egg nog. With whipped cream and nutmeg. 2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?  He leaves both.  In an ever-so-pretty way, he will set up some on display, wrap some, and stuff the stockings!  Such a creative, stylish, crafty man! ;) 3.
